Eating Disorder Specialists

Houston Anxiety and Wellness Center is seeking full and part-time fully licensed mental health clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D., or Ph.D.) to provide specialized 1-on-1 individual therapy for individuals struggling with eating disorders and related conditions.  

Specifically, we are searching for a clinician with required training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT), with preferred experience or training in CBT-AR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), or Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). This flexible position offers full-time or part-time tracks in a hybrid format, combining remote sessions with 1–2 days per week in our Montrose-area office (Mondays and/or Fridays).

Houston Anxiety and Wellness Center is a group therapy practice located in Houston, Texas. We provide compassionate and collaborative care for individuals suffering from anxiety and depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body focused repetitive behaviors, parenting difficulties, and complicated life transitions.

We also help guide and support parents navigating the difficulties of raising anxious children into independent and resilient adults by providing parenting support and parent training.

Qualifications

  • Fully licensed
  • 1+ year experience in 1-on-1 individual work
  • Training in CBT-E and FBT required; CBT-AR, ERP, or RO-DBT preferred
