Dr. Alyssa Hertz is a licensed psychologist specializing in eating disorders, OCD, anxiety-related disorders, and phobias. She primarily works with children, adolescents, and adults with OCD, anxiety, in eating disorder recovery, and parents supporting a child through OCD or anxiety.

Knowing that support starts with understanding, Dr. Hertz's goal is to help you feel understood first so she can support you in facing what feels hardest at a pace that actually builds confidence instead of leading to overwhelm. Clients often say there's more humor in the room than they expected going in, and that she goes above and beyond.

Watching her mom and sister, both nurses, come home with stories about the patients they'd helped inspired Dr. Hertz from a young age, and a psychology course in college made clear where her career would take her. Her natural desire to help and support others shows up just as much at home, where she's kept busy by her husband (who’s just as excited about sports as she is), her daughter, and their energetic husky, and where she unwinds by reading, trying new coffee shops, or training for a race.
